Lego Robotics, Roller Coaster Physics, Video Game Design, Claymation, Junior M.D. and more make The Tech Summer Camps an exciting summer experience for any science and technology lover. As a staff member in this program, you will work closely with kids in grades 4-8 in The Tech Museum’s high-quality lab facilities and on the gallery floor. Most importantly, you will have a positive impact on kids’ interests in science, engineering and technology. Camp runs from June 16th to August 15th, 2008. Our camper to staff ratio is always 6:1 or fewer to provide all campers with personalized attention.

Your classroom will be a world class museum, complete with an IMAX movie theater!

{ Year-Round Tech Director }

The Tech Director leads the summer camp program at the world-class Tech Museum of Innovation, and works for Galileo year round. This position is currently filled.

{ Lead Instructor }

Responsible for teaching each of our class topics. Lead Instructors are college graduates with teaching experience and an in-depth understanding of their subject matter.

{ Assistant Instructor }

Provides instructional support to Lead Instructors. Assistant Instructors are college students or recent graduates pursuing careers in science or technology related fields.

{ Summer Intern }

High school volunteers who participate in Galileo’s Leadership Development program and are intimately involved in supporting the overall program and helping the Tech Camp Director and staff where needed.
