Glen Tripp Glen Tripp, Founder and CEO
While an undergrad at Stanford University, Glen got his first camp job at Stanford Sierra Camp and discovered the joy of working with kids outside of school. A few years after graduating, he was named Vice President of Operations at SCORE! Educational Centers and helped lead its expansion over a six year period. In 2001 Glen returned to his camp roots and founded Galileo to fulfill a dream of working with "camp people" year around. Glen is the father of 3 and 5-year old boys, the oldest of which attended Camp Galileo for the first time in 2007.
Ileana Street, Vice President, Marketing & Operations
Ileana joined Galileo in 2004 and has worked in the areas of children's education and marketing since 1993. She directed leadership programs for Hispanic high school and college students at the National Hispanic Institute and founded and ran CraniaMania, a company specializing in online academic competitions and promotional games for youth. Ileana received her BA in Psychology from Stanford University and MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA. Ileana loved attending camps every summer as a child-some of her favorites included space science and psychology camps, church camps, and theatre camp.
Tajalli R. Greengus Tajalli R. Horvat, Vice President, Field Operations
Tajalli has been with Galileo since our first summer of camp in 2002 as an Area Director. Since then she has helped grow the company while directly serving our Peninsula and East Bay communities. She now oversees the field, leading the Area Director Team and managing camp operations. Previously, she was the National Marketing Manager and opened and directed several centers for SCORE! Educational Centers in Chicago. Tajalli has a B.A. in Spanish and Business from the University of Southern California and currently lives in the East Bay with her husband Tim and dog Bubba. She loves to dance and travel in her free time. As a child, Tajalli attended theater arts and canoeing camps.
Bridget Rigby

Bridget Rigby, South Bay Area Director
Bridget oversees The Tech Museum Summer Camps and four south bay locations for Camp Galileo. Previously she was a Senior Director at SCORE! Educational Centers, where she managed multiple learning centers and brought SCORE! into many new communities. Bridget, who earned her BA from Stanford University in the History and Philosophy of Science, has also been a science leader at the Bay Area Discovery Museum Summer Camp. When not leading summer camps, Bridget can be found in the yoga studio, out on the soccer field, or at the beach reading in the sunshine and playing in her passions for math and science. 

h Stephanie Burns , Peninsula Area Director
With a contagious energy and passion for the arts, sciences and outdoors, Stephanie has been inspiring Camp Galileo campers for the past five years as the Founder and Camp Director of Camp Galileo in San Francisco and our Woodside location in 2003. In addition to her previous work with Galileo, Stephanie joins the Area Director team with a Bachelor’s Degree from Wake Forest University and ten years experience working with Bay Area environmental education organizations including the Marine Science Institute, Headlands Institute, and Bay Model Association.  Stephanie looks forward to meeting all of our Peninsula families at camp this summer as well as continuing to grow with the entire Galileo learning community!

Chris joined Galileo in the Spring of 2007 and he oversees Camp Galileo's East Bay locations.  Prior to Galileo, he spent 7 years working for SCORE! Educational Centers in San Diego and in the Bay Area where he was a regional manager.  Chris has two B.A.s from UC San Diego in Human Development and Psychology, and is a proud husband and father to two.  He spends much of his free time with his wife and kids and loves photography, all things Disney, and visiting friends in San Diego.
Becky Spencer, Director of Staff Recruiting
Becky is responsible for recruiting the incredible staff who work at all of Galileo’s programs. She previously worked as a District Manager with Cutco, where she was responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of college students. Becky received her BA in English Literature and French Language from Whitworth University and attended Girl Scout and church camps growing up. In her free time, Becky enjoys cooking, travel, and organic gardening.
  Jeremy Sampson – Marketing Manager
Jeremy joined Galileo’s marketing team in 2007 after 5 years and multiple roles at SCORE! Educational Centers, including a stint as the Northern California Marketing Manager. Previously he worked in the travel industry marketing cruise vacations, and taught English to business executives for a year in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Jeremy received his BA in Mass Communications from UC Berkeley, where he also served as the Sports Editor at The Daily Californian from 1995-1997. As a freelance writer, Jeremy has also written music reviews and features for multiple Bay Area online publications, including SF Station and Flavorpill. Most importantly, he spent many unforgettable summers as a senior camp counselor at Kamp Kaleidoscope in Northridge, Calif
Ryan Ryan McGuire, Enrollment Manager
Ryan comes to us from Victoria, British Columbia. Before joining the Galileo team, Ryan worked as the Community Recreation Coordinator at Oaklands Community Center and as the Outdoor Education Leader at Circle R Ranch. For a number of summers, Ryan was the Sports Instructor at the Canadian National Institute for the Blind and has extensive knowledge in dealing with the dual disabled population. While attending the Recreation and Leisure Services program through Fanshawe College, Ryan had the opportunity to work at Club Med, Ixtapa Mexico and continues to build his passion for camping, hiking, snowboarding and fishing through his weekend adventures. As the Galileo Enrollment Manager, Ryan brings enthusiasm and empathy to the customer service field and as a former summer camper himself, has a strong understanding of the vital impact camp has on a child’s life. “I look forward to making your family's summer an unforgettable and exciting experience!”
Puja Dasari, Director, Galileo Summer Quest
Puja received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Columbia University, and her Master's degree in Education from Mills College. Puja is a 4th-year Program Director for Galileo, previously directing The Tech Museum Summer Camps for 4th-8th graders for three years. Prior to her work at Galileo, Puja was the Director for Cybercamps and Technology Director at Community Bridges Beacon in San Francisco, where she led a variety of science and technology workshops for elementary, middle and high school students. In her spare time she enjoys conducting culinary experiments and playing guitar hero.
ik Joyce Friedrichs, Curriculum Development Manager
Joyce has devoted her career to educating children in a variety of capacities. She has been a teacher, the Education Director and CEO of a non-profit education foundation, has worked in educational publishing as a science product manager and is the board chair of the Environmental Volunteers, a non-profit that teaches kids to love and respect nature. She has a B.S. in Education from the University of Colorado. Joyce manages Camp Galileo's art, science and outdoors curriculum development. She loved her day and overnight camp experiences as a child, and had a blast as a summer camp counselor.
