{ Lead Instructor }

Imagine a camp where kids build robots, create new inventions, make movies, and design video games all in one summer. Now imagine being the one who teaches them how to do those amazing things! The Tech Museum Summer Camps features hands-on classes that bring the exciting world of science and technology to kids in the most interactive science playground in Silicon Valley.

Lead Instructors are professional educators who are experienced in their subject matter and confident in leading groups of kids in 4th-8th graders in a traditional or non-traditional educational setting. It is possible that talented graduate students could be hired in this capacity. Lead Instructors will develop or refine their program’s curriculum, lead the class, and take overall ownership for customer satisfaction. They must embrace the Design Challenge methodology (for more info: click here) and should be serious and passionate about their subject matter, but also flexible, patient, and fun with the kids. Previous camp experience is a plus.
